Petal Two

A What

was walking by my car park a few nights back
heard the sounds of rythmic hammering just around the bend
took a quicker pace to see what it was
at the bend there was nothing
the sound has moved to the other end of the carpark
chased after it with a brisk walk
sound grew louder and louder
at the corner of the carpark was a big black lump of fur
was wrong
a rug was hiding something beneath it which moved just before the hammering sound
like a small waist hight hill which had a beating heart on its left
placed a shaking hand on the rug
it moved more vigorously
hammering became faster
placed another hand
got a good hold of the rug
pulled it
surprisingly effortless
and there it was.. . . . .
